Bahria town Karachi Maintenance and Service Department always work for healthy environment for their residents. Bahria has issued new Circular regarding Ban on Use of Plastic Shopping Bags by Shops.

It is Stated that In view of very adverse effects of plastic shopping bags on environment and as a step to reduce plastic pollution , Bahria Town Managment has decided to completely stop their use in BTK. All Business setup are required to switch over to alternative means ( Paper or Cotton Bags etc) to replace plastic shopping bags in next two weeks. With effect from 01 december 2022 use of all types of plastic Shoppers / Shopping bags will be completely banned at all shops / business setups and departmental store. Incase of Non- Adherence of these instruction , heavy penalties will be imposed.
